Join us for a sleepover at the Museum! Imagine roaming through The Williamson Museum at night, enjoying the sights and sounds of the old bank building after everyone else has left for the day. Listen to tales from the early days as you tour the galleries by flashlight. Get up close and personal with Museum artifacts before bunking down for a comfy night among the exhibits. Greet the new day with a smile and a light breakfast. What a way to camp out!

These free student tours are designed to meet the TEKS for grade levels 2 through 7.

These 25 minute presentations meet the TEKS for K through 2nd grade, with hands-on activities and active participation by the students.

Intermediate/Middle School Traveling Trunks

• Swedish Immigrants
• Day in the Life of a Cowboy

These traveling trunks are available for a two-week rental on a first-come, first-served basis. They include artifacts, hands-on activities, primary sources, and lesson plans for use in the classroom. The lessons meet the TEKS for grade levels 3 through 7.

Tours are free to all students in Williamson County and must be scheduled at least two weeks in advance.
